Saint Paul, Minn. – January 23, 2013 – Pheasants Forever announces “The Gun Counter” as the newest addition to upcoming National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic presented by Cabela’s. The event comes to the Minneapolis Convention Center on February 15, 16 and 17th. This portion of the show is an all-encompassing forum to learn more about the tools which bird hunters use in the field.
Flanigan is currently an eight-time world record holder in Xtreme Sport Shooting and at the very top of the exhibition shooting circuit. Patrick performs dozens of live Xtreme Sport Shooting shows a year and is also the star of numerous television programs such as “Hot Shots” on NBC Sports, “Impossible Shots” on the Outdoor Channel, and Patrick Flanigan's own “Shell Shocked” on The Sportsman’s Channel. Patrick has also been featured in hundreds of publications.
Fiumarello is a lifelong educator, spending 33 years as a highly successful physical education instructor and coach. His passion for teaching now transcends to the outdoors, and his students find out first-hand how quickly learning takes place when being taught by a man who truly “loves what he does.” Tom is the Director of the Clays and Wing Shooting Academy at Vernon National Shooting Preserve in Vernon, NY, as well as the head shooting instructor at St. Hubert’s Club at Guarino Farms in Marlboro, NY.

CT Rally In Hartford
Submitted by drupal on Fri, 01/18/2013 - 01:26.All:
On Saturday January 19th at 12 noon at the state capital in Hartford, there is a gun rights rally.
CONNECTICUT IS GROUND ZERO IN THIS FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHTS!!
We need as many people as possible to come to this event. If the elected officials see thousands of citizens, they will re consider the asinine laws being proposed to trample our constitutional rights. THIS IS IMPORTANT!
BIG NOTE: while you may carry a firearm on the grounds of the capital, the city of Hartford had deemed Bushnell park a gun free zone and you will be arrested if you enter the park with a firearm. This comes directly from the Capital Police. TGC is recommending EMPTY HOLSTERS AS a sign of protest.
Please, Please Please make time for this event.
We need to be courteous, and we need to be civil. I am sure there will be anti-gun protesters there. Don’t let them bait you. We will be called baby killers, murderers and worse by people who probably could not pass the background checks we have all gone through. We need to show America, yes that’s right, there will be National Press there, how we are the nonviolent sane people and the legislature and protesters are the ones of diminished mental capacity. If you are a pistol team member, wear your team shirt & hat, or wear something that says NRA or America.
NO VIOLENT SHIRTS OR POSTERS! That is what out enemy’s want to see.
You don’t have to respond, just show up. ..Please. And bring a friend even if they don’t own a gun! Bring your spouse & kids as this is a family event. We need numbers!!!!!!

What's Happening in NY?
Submitted by drupal on Fri, 01/18/2013 - 01:23.Please see the links below for detailed information on current events including President Obama's plan and the detail behind the NY law...(you may have to cut and paste into your browser) NY law in detail - http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=6jHQzrfKcB8 NY gun law finds support in CT - http://www.ctmirror.org/story/18775/new-ny-gun-law-finds-support-connecticut-capitol Cuomo exploits Newtown tragedy - http://gunowners.wordpress.com/2013/01/15/new-york-gov-exploits-death-of-20-children-to-pass-worthless-gun-control-measures/ Gun ban that backfired - http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424127887324081704578235460300469292.html CT lawmakers - http://www.ctnewsjunkie.com/ctnj.php/archives/entry/top_lawmakers_set_ambitious_deadline_for_bipartisan_super_committee As we have said over and over again, the best and easiest way in which to contact your Federal and State Representatives is through the NRA-ILA website. www.NRAILA.org HOW? On the right hand of the page there are tabs. Click on: Write Your Reps. Enter your zip code. Follow the directions in the ACTION ALERT box and voice your opinions and concerns to protect your second amendment rights. Another option to accomplish the above is through the Ruger website: www.ruger.com HOW? On the home page there is a blue box that says, Take Action Now! Click on it. You will see another box that says, Take Action Now. Click on it. Enter your contact information where prompted. A form letter is already populated. Change it if you wish to express your own thoughts. The rest is self-explanatory. ACT NOW if you have not already done so!!. As you are probably aware, this fight to protect our right to bear arms is going to take not only strong support, but also donations to fight it effectively. There are ways in which you can help here as well:
