This year the station sponsorship program for the Connecticut State Shoot will support Rotary International's Polio Eradication efforts. Monies raised will be used to match $350 million already given by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation toward this effort. Polio today is only endemic in 4 countries, and we are very close to eliminating it as a world health threat.
